About CurioQuest

Built by families, WCED teachers, and technologists who believe curiosity is sacred—and CAPS must be honoured.

Born from two families, built with WCED teachers

CurioQuest began around kitchen tables and staff rooms, not in a boardroom. Two families, each with young children, asked the same questions:

  • ?
How do we help our kids make sense of an AI powered world?
  • ?
How do we support them when they struggle with school work?
  • ?
How do we use technology with intention, not as a distraction?
  • ?
How do we stay true to CAPS while using AI safely?

We looked at what was available and felt something important was missing. There were many apps that kept children busy, but fewer that truly respected their minds, their questions, their data, and their future.

So we built CurioQuest.

Who we are

Parents

Who want the best education and the best future for our children.

Teachers

Who love explaining ideas and seeing understanding light up—and need CAPS consistency.

Technologists

Who know how powerful AI can be when it is used with care.

We combine these roles into one simple goal: to give families and schools a safe, thoughtful way to bring AI into everyday learning.

What we believe

  • Curiosity is a gift that must be protected and encouraged.
  • Screens are tools, not babysitters. The value is in how they are used.
  • AI is already part of our children’s world. Ignoring it will not keep them safe. Teaching them how to use it well will.
  • Every child deserves patient, personalised support that follows CAPS.
  • Technology should amplify the work of parents and teachers, not replace them.

Our purpose is simple: to give our beautiful people kind, intelligent support on their journey to becoming confident, capable adults.

How we work

1

Humble listening

We listen to children, parents and teachers before we write code. Their reality shapes our roadmap.

2

Safety and responsibility

We take privacy, safety and age appropriate content seriously. We design with guardrails, not as an afterthought.

3

Continuous learning

Just as we ask children to stay curious, we stay curious too. We keep improving how the platform explains, supports and encourages.
